Ted Goralski
Ted specializes in the defense of personal injury claims with a focus on municipal liability. Throughout his career, Ted has handled all aspects of litigation from pre-suit claims through pleadings, discovery, trial, and appeal. His skills include taking and defending depositions, expert analysis, drafting and arguing motions, trials, and appellate practice. Ted also represents various villages in Small Claims Assessment Review hearings and Article 78 petitions and appeals, with expert knowledge of issues unique to SCAR.
Ted and has taken verdicts in a wide range of cases. His trial experience includes cases involving municipal liability, motor vehicle accidents, premises liability, common carriers, nursing homes and construction accidents. He also has obtained verdicts in over two dozen complex medical malpractice cases. When necessary, Ted has experience earning favorable resolutions through settlement and mediation. Well versed in the law, Ted uses his exceptional communication skills to construct arguments that are persuasive and accurate. He keeps pace with changes in the law, building on that knowledge to grasp the details that can make or break a case. Ted is a shrewd negotiator, reasonable and personable, but able to use confrontation and assertiveness while maintaining an open line of communication.

Ted is admitted to practice law in New York State, the United States District Courts for the Southern and Eastern Districts of New York and The United States Court of Federal Claims. He received a Bachelor of Science Degree from Cornell University and his J.D. from St. John’s University School of Law. He is a graduate of the National Institute of Trial Advocacy and a member of the New York State Academy of Trial Lawyers.
